Holiday Night on St. Armands - Friday, December 3
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Kick off the official start of the season at the Holiday Night of Lights on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3. Enjoy a special performance, photos with Santa, store promotions and so much more. You can even join in during a Christmas carol sing-a-long.
Siesta Beach Seafood & Music Festival - Friday, December 3 - Sunday, December 5
Seafood lovers, you don’t want to miss this one. Come hungry and leave happy at the 5th Annual Siesta Beach Seafood & Music Festival from December 3-5. This event will offer a variety of local seafood, cooked fresh on site and created with sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast.

The Annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade of Lights - Saturday, December 11
Prepare to be dazzled by a beautiful array of light displays at the Annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade of Lights on December 11. The parade begins at 6pm at City Island and will continue all the way through Bayfront Park. Feel free to bring folding chairs or a cooler with your favorite snacks as you watch boats large and small spread holiday cheer.
NYE Pineapple Drop - Friday, December 31
Ring in the new year at the New Years Eve Pineapple Drop in Downtown Sarasota on December 31. The party starts at 1pm with live music, amusement park rides, food, drinks and more. Then the Pineapple drops at midnight followed by a fabulous fireworks display. What a great way to ring in the new year!
