Breakfast with the Sharks



Enjoy a morning dining amongst the sharks at the Marine Laboratory and Aquarium! This experience will be a meal paired with an informational session on the sharks and shark research being conducted at MOTE. You will also get the opportunity to watch a feeding of their bonnethead sharks and ask any shark questions to the experts themselves.

Venice Craft Festival



Calling all crafters! The 12th annual Downtown Venice Craft Festival is back and happening on September 2nd-3rd in Downtown Venice, Florida. Enjoy a variety of handmade goods from ceramics to jewelry from locals and small businesses around the area. The festival will take place from 10am-4pm each day, and parking is free.

Free Music Friday Concert Night in Downtown Venice

What better way to spend your Friday night than enjoying some local live music by Robert Garcia in Downtown Venice? This free concert is held the second and fourth Friday of every month from 7pm - 9pm and is in Centennial Park. No alcohol is permitted in the park, but feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets to get comfortable and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere Venice has to offer.

Party on the Plaza featuring Pure Country

Join country music lovers on September 9th for a concert put on by Pure Country. Listen to country hits from the 80s to the 2000s performed by a beloved Florida country music group. Gates open at 5pm for this event and the concert starts at 7pm. Tickets are $15, with a special VIP package including 4 tickets with chairs, 4 beverages, and reserved preferred seating near the stage is available for $120.

Celebrate International Coastal CleanUp Day

We love our beaches here in Siesta Key and Sarasota, so it’s important they’re shown some care. Join hundreds of volunteers on September 16th from 8am - 10am in cleaning up our coasts! There will be multiple locations within the Siesta Key and Sarasota area hosting volunteers to help clean up our beaches.

Fishermen’s Village Key Lime & Tropical Fest



Come enjoy the 9th annual Key Lime and Tropical Fest held in Punta Gorda. Uncover dozens of key lime specialties from local shops and vendors! The event runs from 12pm - 9pm and features live music throughout the day leading up to the main event: Tropical Avenue! This local five piece band is known for their audience participation and energy on stage, you won’t want to miss it! Parking and admission to this event are free.
