Gods and Lovers: Paintings and Sculptures from India
Experience authentic Indian paintings from as far back as the 16th century in this brand new exhibition at the Ringling Museum of Art. Characterizing scenes in Hindu scripture, these intricate miniature paintings were given to the royal courts of Northern and Western India for decoration. Years later, we embrace just how intricate these depictions are of the scripture. Weaving together the tales of divine love, heroism, vengeance, and earthly splendor, we get to take a deeper look at the depths of Hinduism.

Oscars Viewing Party

It’s that time of the year again! A time for Guinness, green and all things Irish. We are talking about St. Paddy’s day in Sarasota of course! Come on down to the Shamrock Pub for their annual outdoor block party featuring food trucks, live music and drink specials all day long.
