If you are a budget-conscious traveler who appreciates vintage charm and cleanliness, you’ll want to book one of our four original Osprey studios. These classics have not yet been updated, but boast the same cleanliness and comfort as the others.

Tropical Sun is conveniently located off Midnight Pass Road within immediate walking distance of Siesta’s great restaurants and shops, yet less than a two-minute walk to beautiful Crescent Beach. Here you can partake in as much activity – or as little – as you choose. We highly recommend sunrise walks along the water’s edge, while looking out for whatever exotic seashells washed up during the night. If you prefer late afternoon beach time, you can linger to watch breathtaking sunsets in brilliant hues of orange, pink and violet.

We know that packing for plane trips can be a challenge, so we provide plenty of beach towels. Walk along our clean and beautiful grounds, and, as our guest, you are welcome to use the large swimming pool, play shuffleboard, barbecue, or just sit quietly in the shade and contemplate your peaceful surroundings. Should you wish to venture off-property, you’ll delight in Sarasota's rich palate of arts, culture, shopping and dining.

So pack your swimsuit, flip flops and a casual outfit for evening. Don’t forget your camera and sunscreen because you will not be able to resist the beauty that surrounds you. The natural wonders of Siesta Key are definitely our number one attraction and we look forward to sharing them with you.
